 Jacksonville, Florida
                                          by Stephen Wayne
Leaning on my window sill
I see the lights of Jacksonville
I see tall buildings up in the stars
Moonlight on white sand hills
Where the starlight shines
The St. Johns winds
Through the heart of this grand old town
The neon signs light the city streets
While I listen to her sounds

A soft wind blows through the southern pines
A train rolls down that east coast line
The night is warm like the love I feel
For this city, Jacksonville

Jacksonville, Florida on the river by the sea
Jacksonville, Florida the only place for me

Sailboats glide beneath a bridge
That is reaching to the skies
Those mighty ships that sail the sea
Come home to her harbor lights
And the people here
Have made this town
A city of heart and soul
I hear her old familiar sounds
And I know that I've come home

A soft wind blows through the southern pines
A train rolls down that east coast line
The night is warm like the love I feel
For this city, Jacksonville

Jacksonville, Florida on the river by the sea
Jacksonville, Florida the only place for me

Jacksonville, Florida on the river by the sea
Jacksonville, Florida the only place for me

The place I wanna be
The only place for me

Jacksonville. Ya'll come to see us.
Don't worry 'bout the sand on your feet, come right on in.
