Vhara Selidaun - A young man of seventeen summers who works on his fathers farm east of the Traval castle.
Although he is merely just a farmer boy, Vhara knows minor spells of magic, which he learned from his village
Mage. For the past three years, he has been the one to go to the castle to pay their families taxes and sell their
goods in the marketplace. If it wasn't for his best friend, Garrett, Vhara would never find himself in life-threatening
situations.

Turi Verasille/Ellipsis Onivera - The youngest princess of Traval. Being of sixteen summers, she has barely had
her chance to become fit for Queen. Yet, her father insists upon her marrying the young prince of Filliak, Aknai
Celestin, so that the prince could take the role of Tenorious, or High King, since her brother had passed on before
the title could be bestowed upon him. However, Turi believes that her brothers death was more than just a mere
illness and tries to convince her father of this. Although she seemed convincing, her father wouldn't acknowledge
her word, as he would a mans, and sent her away from him as many times as she came to speak to him. In her
search to find an explanation to her brothers death, Turi leaves the castle and disguises herself as a peasant. She
changes her hair style, clothing, and uses the alias Averie Ravines in order to not be found before she finds the
truth about her brother and some way to convince her father to believe in her word.

Garrett Ivanhoe/Gidgett - After living sixteen summers at the side of his best friend, Vhara, Garrett would just
about sacrifice everything to his name in order to save him. Most would say that Garrett is the village idiot, but
Vhara would disagree. Garrett may act like a fool in front of everyone, but he seldom ever is when the situation
turns serious. He can be annoying at times, with his constant banter, but after one gets used to it, it is hard to push
him away. He turns out to be rather adventurous and hardly ever takes the path that's easy. Magic is not
something he adores, since brute strength is something he could never do without. Archery is one of his many
pastimes and he is deathly afraid of fish, for whatever reason, no one knows. He acquires the nickname Gidgett
after a short misunderstanding.

Aknai Celestin - The young  prince of Filliak and currently first in line to become the Seventh Tenorious. He has
chosen Turi as his bride out of the three princesses of Traval, mostly because she is his age, but also because she
seems like a wildfire that needs to be tamed. Aknai is the youngest of his siblings, having both an older brother and
an older sister. Since his older brother is going to become the King of Filliak, Aknai wishes to also become a king
and desperately clings to the request of marrying a princess of Traval.

Jericho Aserbi - The only prince of Korrin and a lazy one at that. His father, King Yarvez Aserbi, wishes him to
become the seventh Tenorious and would do anything to see his son on such a high pedestal, but Jericho could
not care any less. He only wishes to be left alone and hardly ever listens to his father. If he had his way, he would
not be the prince of Korrin, much less related to his father.

Treyvs Verasille - Son of the Sixth Tenorious, Laric Verasille, and crown prince of Traval. He recently passed
away, due to an illness contracted while traveling to the west. He lived for twenty-three summers and was the
oldest and only son of the four children born to Laric Verasille. However many priorities he had to take care of,
Treyvs managed to find time for his youngest sister, Turi, and always played games with her in the castle gardens.
He would confide in her and tell her his secrets, while she would in turn, tell him her own. Although there was a
prominent age gap, the two were inseparable while he did not have duties of which to take care.

Laric Verasille - The Sixth Tenorious and king of Traval. He wants what is best for his kingdom and for the
surrounding kingdoms. After the death of his only son, he was determined to ensure the future of his kingdom by
asking the king of Filliak, Redyn Celestin, for his youngest son to marry one of his three daughters and become the
Seventh Tenorious.
