Irreplaceable
Souls
by Sylvia Rose
for encouragement

The moment when time transcends all but itself,
you find that materialistic things matter not,
and the irreplaceable souls around you
seem like they could live one forever.

Time may not stop,
but there are always moments
when it feels that it has done such a thing,
and even times when it feels that it is going as slow
-or even more slowly-
than a turtle or an inchworm.

Moments even when time seems to pass by so quickly,
you won't be able to blink without it going past you.

You only think you're depressed when you are alone.
That is just a state of mind.
Even if it pains you,
there is always a way to cure it.

Some say that you can always cure the pain of a wound,
but never the wound of the heart.
Yet, even seeing people today,
with their heartache over lost lovers or brothers,
I know that if they look, truly, at the life before them,
they will find their cure to such a wound of the heart.

The moment when time transcends all but itself,
they will find that materialistic things matter not,
and that the irreplaceable souls around them
live on forever, inside their hearts, as guardians.
